Zambia Sugar proudly participated in the inaugural Zambia Capital Markets Conference & Awards (ZCMCA), held from 2–3 October 2025 in Livingstone under the theme “Unlocking Capital Markets for Inclusive Economic Growth.” Hosted by the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE), the event convened policymakers, regulators, investors, and industry leaders to discuss how capital markets can drive inclusive and sustainable growth.

Zambia Sugar Finance Director Mr Hezron Musonda, gave a presentation on Key Strategies to attract investment flows while our Company Secretary Mrs Harriet Katongo moderated a panel discussion on Green and Sustainable Finance- Adapting to Climate Change.

Zambia Sugar received two awards:

* Sustainability Award

* Longstanding Listed Company Award, along with a certificate for continued participation on the Exchange.

Zambia Sugar was the second company to be listed on the then Lusaka Stock Exchange. These honors reflect our ongoing commitment to sustainability, transparency, and long-term value creation. We congratulate the LuSE and the Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC) on this achievement and commit to active participation on the capital markets.
